I have some new family photos to share! 😄
Since Stevie was born, I’ve created yearly photo books using Snapfish. I create these books with the photos I’ve taken of her with my pro equipment. And with all of my iPhone photos, I create 6 x 6 softcover Chatbooks. One day she’ll have a room of wall to wall books. 😂 But I’m a massive believer in printing my photos to preserve these memories for both of us. That all said, I realised recently I’ve taken no new family photos of her this year with any of my DSLR equipment. Oops! 🤦♀️
So we set out to my favourite location in Cedar Creek yesterday. She totally knew what was happening and ran away from me every chance she could. ANYTHING to avoid having her photo taken by me. 🤣 So I threw her up onto a log where she couldn’t get down (stellar parenting skills) and put half a tree on my head to get her to laugh. Totally worked. lol 😁
We then walked down to the river. I’d promised her she could throw rocks. She had an absolute ball doing this and I was able to sit back and photograph her.
If you’re after tips for photographing your own kiddos, get the more ‘posed’ photos out of the way first (do whatever you can to get ’em to laugh) and then set up a situation where you can catch some candid photos. 😀
Anyways, here’s my rambunctious-mischievous-cheeky-bold-stubborn-loud-quirky little Punky Brewster. 😁
Such beautiful photos Leanne..
Omg that one in the field with her knee up marching away is her to a tee hey!!! Lol and the log idea is fantastic 👌 Pretty sure I can say you’ve got the parenting thing nailed 😉🥰
Simply stunning 💗💗💗💗💗
