Born and raised in New Zealand, I grew up with a love for art history and practical art, and I could always be found in the art studio in High School.

I started my photography career when I moved to Australia in 2000. I then spent a year living and working in China in 2002, and it was there that I discovered a love for film travel photography.

When I returned home to Brisbane, I was determined to follow my photography passion, and I focused on weddings. I then spent the next 15 years building my photography portfolio and have photographed clients in Brisbane, The Gold Coast, Toowomba, Northern NSW, Vanuatu and New Zealand.

In 2012, I was lucky to receive two Silver Awards from the Australian Institute of Professional Photography in their travel and portraiture categories.

Where we are today

Weddings have always been my passion, and I continue to photograph them. My favourite part of a wedding day is witnessing those private and intimate moments between a couple and their family and friends, and being able to document that for them. It’s a real privilege.

I have a Diploma in Nursing, and I used to work as a part-time nurse in an oncology day unit. These days I work in medical claims during the week, and I am studying Allied Health (Occupational Therapy).

Outside of photography, I spend time adventuring with Stevie, swimming at our local pool, hiking the local conservation parks and spending time with close friends and our two mischievous Bombay cats and one very cuddly British Longhair.
